Terms found used with the Mystery Method:
AA - Approach Anxiety. The fear that pangs EVERY individual when it comes to approaching a random set (or even just one) beautiful women strangers. Even the thought to say 'Hi' is enough to trigger this feeling. All Pick Up Artists even suffer from AA, but they know how to deal with it. Only social calibration in the field will allow you to conquer over it.
AFC - Average Frustrated Chump. Basically someone who uses the same tactics as the last individual to attract a beautiful women. Ex: Buying her a drink, trying to get her attention on the dance floor, using lame pick up lines (they do no exist). Someone, who in essence is frustrated with women and doesn't understand why he can't get them.
AMOG - Alpha Male of the Group. Need I say more?
ASD - Anti-Slut Defense. Women will act a certain way, contradictory of their wants and thoughts, because they do not want to be perceived as a slut. Being called a Slut; is the lowest form of degradation for a woman in today's society.
BF DESTROYER- Boyfriend Destroyer. A routine or technique where a Pick Up Artist uses to win a woman over who has a boyfriend.
BITCH SHIELD - A woman's automatic defense to deter men from attracting her. Though her response may be 'bitchy' it doesn't necessarily mean she is a bitch. She's just a bitch to you.
BUYING TEMPERATURE - A woman's gage of how intimate she's willing to be with you. The higher the buying temperature, the better.
CALIBRATE - The ability to react, say and portray certain aspects of yourself after reading your social surroundings.
CAVEMAN - to instantly become direct and aggressive from a passive unresponsive role when it comes to physical contact.
CHICK CRACK - anything spiritual or psychological that heavily interests women (example: Horoscopes)
COCK BLOCK - an obstacle that separates you from the target. Or a friend that comes in to hinder and destroy your game (most of the time unintentional).
CRASH AND BURN - to be shot out of a set (group) without the intent of doing so. You did your best, and it didn't work out.
DHV - Demonstration of Higher Value. Saying, or portraying something that demonstrates you as a high valued individual. (1 : Leader of Men, 2 : Protector of Loved ones, 3 : Pre-selected, 4 : the ability to emote) Usually portrayed in stories; as a short unintentional spike to avoid bragging.
DLV - Demonstration of Lower Value. Something that displays you as a lower social valued individual. (clingy, needy, un-confident, etc)
FALSE TIME CONSTRAINT, FTC - 'Hey, i can't stay too long, my friends are around the corner, so don't get an ideas...' Displaying that you'll be leaving the set at any moment, to disarm woman's instant BITCH SHIELD. Make the set less on the 'uneasy' stage since they're always wondering when someone approaches, 'Okay....when is this guy gonna leave?'
FR - Field Report. A written Document that contains a Pick Up Artist's story of what happened when he was in the field and practiced the material. Usually posted online.
FIELD TEST - To experiment or test a technique or routine that is Pick Up Artist related, on a various number of women before sharing it to other Pick Up Artists.
FLAKE - In occurrence where a woman cancels or does not show up to a planned meeting.
FRAME - The context which a person, thing, event or environment is perceived.
FREEZE OUT - to ignore a woman to make her feel validation for you. Usually a tactic to conquer Last Minute Resistance (see LMR).
FULL-CLOSE - to have sexual intercourse. aka...Fuck-close.
HB - Hot Babe. Women are usually judged by their looks and we give them a rating from 1-10. A HB 1; being super ugly, where as a HB 10 would be the perfect dream woman. Differentiates depending on a person's taste.
HIRED GUNS - Staff who are hired to do a job based on their looks. Perfect to run material for beginners, but don't expect a close unless you can master normal game.
HOOK POINT - The moment where the HB (or Group) finds you interesting and wants to keep you around. Rapport is built.
IOI - Indicator of Interest. Basically a way of displaying interest in her or your direction. Tight eye contact, flick or playing of hair, laughing, asking your name, playful touching...etc.
KINO (
KINO ESCALATION) - To touch. Kino escalation refers to the ability to start touching slow and eventually build up the amounts of touching. (example: a light hit on the arm calling someone a dork, to thumb war, to hand holding, to arm to arm, than kissing....etc)
KISS CLOSE - To kiss a girl, make out with passion.
LJBF- Lets Just Be Friends. Where the woman doesn't feel threaten by you, but not attracted to you. She sees you more as another 'girl friend' who she can relate all her problems too and chill with.
LMR - Last Minute Resistance. The last moments where a woman's ASD (anti-slut defense) comes into play where intimacy begins to escalate to sex. (can happen from being on the bed, to putting a condom on). She will push you away and refuse to have sex. If you waited an accumulated 7 hours with a girl, this shouldn't happen. But if it does, you do not push the girl. You say, 'Okay, i understand.' and freeze her out. Go check your email, turn off the charm, watch some tv and say, 'Hey check this out. have you seen this episode?!' and pretend it doesn't phase you. After 15 minutes build the intimacy again, and continue. Repeat if necessary.
MPUA - Master Pick Up Artist. Usually validated with the 5 for 5. (having 5 different relationships and making them all work for you at the same time. Built from approach all the way to a sexual close)
NEG - Backhanded compliment and unintentional insult. The purpose, to make a woman feel self conscious and make her feel as if she's not considered an option for the Pick Up Artist.
NUMBER CLOSE - to get a number from a girl after meeting her.
OBSTACLE - Someone who the Pick Up Artist does not desire, but has to win over and be-friend or order to get the validation from the target.
ONE-
ITIS - The disease where an AFC becomes obsessed with one girl and refuses to believe there's anyone else for him. Basically an obsession over one girl. No girl is worth obsessing over.
OPENER - A line, skit, or action that opens a group and gathers the attention on you. The opener is just meant to open the group; not win them over. Not to be confused with a pick up line (which doesn't exist).
PEAKCOCK - To stand out with a piece or multi-pieces of clothing to catch women's attention. Clothing that is loud and flashy.
PIVOT - A wing woman who is aware of gaming techniques.
PUA - Pick Up Artist. Need i say more?
PUSH -
PULL - Basically the 2 steps foward and 1 step back.
RAFC - Recovering Average Frustrated Chump. The beginning transition from an AFC to a PUA.
SARGE - To practice techniques and routines on unsuspecting women. Basically - to pick up.
SARGER - Someone who goes out to Pick Up. A member of the community.
SET - A group of strangers with a target that is sought out by the PUA.
SHIT TEST - A comment, question or action that allows a woman to gauge if the man is worthy of becoming boyfriend material.
TARGET - The HB that you want to get a number close, a kiss close, or a F-close from.
THREE SECOND RULE - A PUA has only three seconds from seeing a woman and considering to open to actually opening the set. This prevents the mind from making excuses for not conversing with her. Imagine like jumping out of an airplane.
WING - Someone who's familiar with game, who drives and pushes you to open as many sets as possible. They will point out your mistakes that you may not be self conscious you're doing. They can also be introduced into a set using the WINGING PRINCIPLES to give more value to the Pick Up Artist, steal an obstacle away (good for 2 sets).
CHARISMA - One sexy son of a bitch.
