Night out at The Bank
Well, if you ask me, it's about time!
I finally managed to get a hold of some of the guys that i've heard of so much on this liar and was actually able to meet some of them in person.
After making some quick second plans, I gathered up a close buddy of mine, Randy and we were introduced to Layman. Props to the guys - cause he knows his shit!
We headed off to the bank early that night - since we've already agreed that we would be calling her an early night - but fear not, i got a go majority of sets opened last night - even if my game wasn't necessarily where i wanted it to be.
Go figure - lack of practice causes someone to become rusty. ![]()
After watching Layman open a set within the first two minutes of walking into the bar, i decided to approach one after he was finished. You know - throw myself out there directly into the AA, and just deal with it.
Ran a quick 'Who lies more opener' on a two set, which didn't go too badly, but i didn't neg or follow through to routines. (It isn't till i'm out of the set that i slap my forehead and go, 'Damn, i should have ran the best friends test' or something. My mind just goes to a blank - need to work on that)
Randy opened a set or two, and didn't do to badly for a guy who ran his first opener at a night time scene. Kuddos to the guy for trying and going through the pain period.
Ran a total of three 'Do i look gay openers', the last set was a 2 set with a HB 9 and a HB 7; and i had some steady eye contact. I was able to root the opener, throw a quick little neg, but once again i ejected too early.
Which had me thinking - that for now on, im going to go until the set crashes, fuck this ejecting polite BS, lol.
Ran 1 tattoo opener, which didn't go too badly, had a hired gun open me up who motioned me to the bar.
HB 7 : You look like you could use a few tequila shots *laughs*
Charisma: Oh is that so? you buying? (don't even wait for a response) than i'll get a whole round for my friends
HB 7 : haha, you have to buy them first...
Charisma : Oh! I see how you roll. You ain't fooling anyone - you just wanted to find a way to break the ice...I'm on to you
HB 7 : yah...thats it. *rolls eyes* Nice goggles! why did you bring em to the bar?
Charisma : Oh these? its whenever you spit too much when you talk, i can do this....*lowers goggles over eyes*
HB 7 : *laughs* thats awesome!
And once again - i ejected way too early.
At this point i was introduced to Brown Jesus and Practice. Cool guys, though i didn't get to see them open unfortunately.
I managed to open one more set with an opener Randy was thinking of using for a long time now, but never considered using it.
Goes along something like this.... 'Do i make you Randy Babyyyy?'
Lame, i know, haha, but i had to try it.
so there i am with Layman and Randy, when a 2 set directly behind me, a Hb 6 and a 6.5.
Charisma : I lean in, 'Do i make you Randy baby?'
HB : DO i make you what now?!?
Charisma : Do i make you randy baby
HB : haha, no....can't say you do *smiles*
Charisma : haha, nice sense of humor. My name is Randy by the way
Hb : (tells me hers and we shake hands - oh son of a bitch....i could have make a neg with the sweaty hands....why does this shit come after the bar?!?!? hahaha)
once again i ejected too early, but thats okay, I'm learning and now i know what i have to focus on.
At this point Layman had to leave due to the account of having work the next day, but he offered us a ride back. On the way back we got lost and we hit this wicked park, and i mean totally wicked.
it was like opportunity had just hit us. And we took it. Who can say they went to a jungle gym after hitting the bar....honestly?!
though - after some thinking, we concluded it be a wicked place to bounce after the bar with a target and run some comfort game. 'Oh babe, i'm so lost right about now....Holy shit! check this park out!' and so on.
So overall, good night. and im looking forward to sarge with any of you in the future (if not the remainder of this week, 6 months from now when i permanently move to
Chairsma - Rocking out.
